When I first started playing online backgammon, I stuck to web-based sites that didn’t require downloads.  I had some bad experiences in the past with downloading sites for other things, and just didn’t feel like going the backgammon download route.  But, as months went by and I got familiar with the online backgammon world, I started to find how seriously the casinos took their players security.  After all, with how many backgammon sites have popped up, if a site has a bad reputation it won’t be in business for long.

I had heard how much more realistic the backgammon download sites were, so I thought I would give them a try.  I looked into some backgammon sites my friends suggested and checked out the type of security software they used.  A quick internet search provided a bunch of reviews and I also called the customer service number to ask them some questions.  Once I felt good about everything, I joined onto my first backgammon download site.  Let me tell you, my friends weren’t lying.

The graphics on these backgammon sites are really unbelievable; completely realistic.  And you get a bunch more special features and bonuses on the backgammon download sites.  Plus, lots more people play these sites, so there were tons more people to meet and pick up tips from.  It was a whole new world that was a ton of fun.

I still play the web-based sites when I’m on the road or during lunch at work.  But when I’m at home and want some backgammon action, I stick to the backgammon download sites.
